The trigger shoe is the most sensitive contact point on the rifle. Many shooting errors are based on faults in this area. With the MEC trigger design we have gone to work on many of these difficulties, to provide the shooter with optimal conditions for a perfect trigger release:
The fastening lug made of stainless steel can be swivelled sideways and securely fastened, so that you can choose the perfect point under the barrel axis.
The stainless steel ball-joint permits movement in three axes, so that the shoe can be fixed in practically any position you like.
Tightening of the ball-joint is secure while at the same time allowing the finest adjustment. The aluminium shoe has been through a long test period during which it has been refined to meet the needs of shooters of all levels of performance.
It features a perpendicular forward surface, meaning that the force at the moment of release can act exactly along the line of the barrel. A grooved surface with optimised profile ensure definite contact and better sensitivity for the finger pad.
Cross-channels, which can be covered with fine rubber rings, make it simple for you to find the right height for your finger on the trigger, every time.
