MEC glas-system

Band shooting glass, which allows you to change or adjust the lens and supports with a turn of the hand.

Fastened by means of a high quality headband with Amaretta border, which features a comfortable, exchangeable towelling insert.

The stable system for holding the lens in place is made out of two stainless steel elements which allow the glass to be effortlessly located in exactly the right place and close to the eye. Two double joints enable the ideal position to be adjusted and fixed.

The lens-carrier is fastened by hand to the quick-attachment in front of the forehead with just a single tightening screw. For different shooting positions or for different disciplines, the lens-carrier can also be completely exchanged.

To alter the position of the glass the carrier is simply taken off, adjusted and with one movement again fastened.

For the competition shooter and those who want to combine different events, a convincing solution carrying the MEC stamp of quality.

Existing elements supplied by the other main manufacturers can be integrated into the attachment piece of the MEC-glass.

Acquiring a shooting glass is a long-term decision. You should therefore visit an eye specialist with experience in shooting sports. Optimal correction of eyesight problems takes place as follows:

The positioning aid (nose-piece) is a basic part of the MEC-glass system. It ensures that the location of the lens in front of the eye is always consistent.

If you find the pressure on the nose-pice a distraction or you want to keep the field of vision clear, you can simply dispense with this part. In practice, this is quite sufficient. And if something slips during a competition, a quick adjustment to the headband is all you need to bring the glass exactly back into the line of sight.
