IWA & OutdoorClassics 2006:
|
Attractive supporting programme supplements products on display From 10-13 March 2006, international retailers, wholesalers, mail order traders, representatives from security services and official agencies and trade journalists source information about the latest market trends and new ways to more sales at IWA & OutdoorClassics. They have done this for decades – as the trade fair in 2006 takes place for the 33rd time.
The visitors at IWA & OutdoorClassics agree: “This is the only event where I find firsthand information on what I can offer my customers in the future.” The most impressive feature of IWA & OutdoorClassics apart from its professional competence and extensive supporting programme with the IWA International Knife Award or the Practical Workshop on Law Enforcement is its pleasant atmosphere. Nuremberg is a popular place to meet for discussions and exchanging views with experts and colleagues.

Attractive spectrum of products
|
Over 45 per cent* of the exhibitors at IWA & OutdoorClassics present hunting and sporting guns, handguns, replicas, decorative arms, gun components and machining. Everything available on the market is shown – from reasonably priced standard products and high-quality custom-made guns to valuable de luxe versions. Another 15 per cent* of the exhibitors are traditionally present with ammunition and 12 per cent* with sophisticated optics. Around 8 per cent* of the exhibitors present hunting gifts and 20 per cent* accessories, such as gun covers, gun cupboards, cleaning equipment and shooting sports requisites. Some 160 exhibitors are present at IWA & OutdoorClassics with a comprehensive range of knives, which also makes IWA the world’s biggest trade fair for knives. The knife has long since completed the change from useful everyday object to cult status symbol. This is also clearly shown by the IWA International Knife Award, which is presented in 2006 for the sixth time. A critical jury judges the functionality, innovation, engineering, material combination and workmanship – and presents the coveted, noted awards. The exhibitors’ new products for the year are presented in the IWA New Product Center for a quick overview. This is a service from IWA & OutdoorClassics 2006 for everyone looking for a quick guide before touring the exhibition. The newly designed IWA New Product Center shows visitors and trade journalists the new products worth seeing at a glance. The Look Showcase gives visitors ideas on how the industry can present its products in the shop windows of the world. NürnbergMesse together with the journal Waffenmarkt Intern is organizing a special show, which presents ideally designed “life-size” shop windows – with products from IWA exhibitors.
